Indeflator: Indeflator is an inflation/deflation device used for balloon angioplasty (removal of blocks in blood vessels using balloon catheters. Indeflator looks like syringe with an attached pressure gauge. The pressure used to inflate the balloon catheter can be seen from the dial of the indeflator. This helps us to avoid the use of excessive pressure and potential damage to the balloon which can rupture, injuring the blood vessel.
