Segments in an ECG<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

EKG is same as ECG or electrocardiogram. ECG has a few waves and a few segments. The usual waves are P, QRS complex and T. The region between the P and QRS is known as PQ segment or more popularly as PR segment as Q waves may not be seen always. QRS complex can consist of Q wave, R wave and S wave or varying combinations of these. The segment between the S wave or the end of the QRS complex and the T wave is known as the ST segment. TP segment is between the end of the T wave and the next P wave. TP segment is truly isoelectric and hence the true baseline for all ECG measurements, while the other two segments may have deviations from the baseline.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
