To make it simple, it is an essential constituent of our body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>So if its a good thing, then why all the fuss about it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, if you have too much cholesterol in your blood, it can get deposited in the walls of the blood vessels (forming what is known as a plaque). This can lead to narrowing of the blood vessel, and can eventually get blocked due to formation of blood clot.
