ഇത്തവണത്തെ തക്കാളി തൈകൾ ചെടിച്ചട്ടികളിൽ വളർന്നു വരുന്നുണ്ട്. കുറേ ഇലകൾക്ക് ചിത്രകീടങ്ങളുടെ ഉപദ്രവം ഉണ്ടായതായി കാണാം. ഇലകളുടെ പച്ചപ്പ് കാർന്നു തിന്നുന്നവയാണ് ചിത്രകീടങ്ങൾ. ഇവിടെ വഴുതന ചെടികൾക്കും വെണ്ട ചെടികൾക്കും അവയുടെ ഉപദ്രവം കാണാറുണ്ട്. മുളക് ചെടികൾക്ക് കാണുന്നില്ല.

This year’s tomato seedlings are growing in pots. A number of leaves can be seen to have been attacked by leaf miners. Leaf miner insects feed on green leaves. Here, eggplant plants and Okra (Lady’s finger) plants are also affected by them. Chili plants are not affacted.
