വേണമെങ്കിൽ ചക്ക വേരേലും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ പോലെ!

ഈ പയർ ചെടി നോക്കൂ, നന്ന കടക്കൽ പൂക്കൾ കാണാം. അതിന് തൊട്ടു മുകളിൽ കായകളും. ആ ഭാഗത്തൊന്നും ഇലകളെ ഇല്ല എന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. ഈ ഇനം പയറിന് മാത്രമേ ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ ഇലകൾ കുറവും കായകൾ അധികവും ആയി കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള. മുൻപ് ഒരു ഇനം നേരെ തിരിച്ചായിരുന്നു. ധാരാളം ഇലകളായി തഴച്ചു വളർന്നെങ്കിലും ആകെ മൂന്ന് പൂക്കളാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്. ഒരു കായ പോലും ലഭിക്കാതെ അവസാനം വെട്ടിക്കളയേണ്ടി വന്നു.

Look at this pea plant and you will see flowers at the very beginning of the stem. Just above it are the pods. It is noteworthy that there are no leaves in that part. This variety of pea is the only one I have seen that has fewer leaves and more pods. Previously, an item was the opposite. It had plenty of leaves but produced only three flowers. I had to cut it down without getting even a single fruit.
