കുഞ്ഞു പ്ലാവിൽ വീണ്ടും ഒരു ചക്കയുണ്ടാകുന്നു

ഈ ഗ്രാഫ്ട് ചെയ്ത പ്ലാവ് നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞു ചക്ക ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അത് കൊഴിഞ്ഞു പോയി. ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കുളിൽ ഒരെണ്ണം കൂടി ഉണ്ടായി. അതും കൊഴിഞ്ഞു പോയി. പിന്നെ ഒന്നര കൊല്ലമായി ഒന്നുമില്ലായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ ഇതാ വീണ്ടും ഒരു ചെറിയ ചക്ക കാണുന്നു. വളർന്നു കിട്ടണമെന്ന് അതിയായ ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ കടുത്ത വേനലിൽ എന്താവുമെന്നാണ് ആകാംഷ. വിയറ്റ്നാം ഏർളി എന്ന ഇനം പ്ലാവാണെന്നാണ് വാങ്ങുമ്പോൾ നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് പറഞ്ഞത്. ഞാൻ ആ ഇനം പ്ലാവ് മുൻപ് കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല, അതിന്റെ ചക്ക കഴിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല. പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

A small jackfruit has come up on this small plant

This grafted jackfruit plant had a small fruit when it was brought from the nursery. It fell off soon. Later there was one more. It also fell off. And there was nothing for a year and a half. Now here is another little jack fruit coming up. I earnestly hope that it will grow up. But I wonder what will happen in hot summer. When I bought it, I was told from the nursery that it is called Vietnam Early variety. I have never seen that variety of jackfruit plants before, nor eaten its fruit. Looking forward to see the jackfruit grow up.
