വെണ്ട ചെടികളിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ചിത്രകീടബാധ കാണുന്നില്ല

വെണ്ട ചെടികൾ വലുതായി പൂവും കായയുമായപ്പോൾ ഭാഗ്യത്തിന് ചിത്രകീടങ്ങുളുടെ അടയാളം കാണുന്നില്ല. ചില ചെടികളിൽ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു നോക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ തുടക്കത്തിലെ ചെറിയ ഇലകളിൽ ചിത്രകീടങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ അടയാളം കാണാം. വളമായി വേപ്പിൻ പിണ്ണാക്ക് കൊടുത്തതിന്റെ ഫലമാണോ എന്നറിയില്ല. മരുന്നുകളൊന്നും തളിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. അതോ ചിത്രകീടങ്ങൾക്ക് ഭക്ഷിക്കാൻ തൊട്ടടുത്ത് ഇളം വഴുതന, തക്കാളി തൈകൾ ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടാണോ?

Fortunately, when the Okra (Lady’s finger) plants are large enough to flower and bear fruit, there is no sign of leaf miner insects. If you look carefully at some plants, you can see the marks made by the leaf miner insects on the small leaves at the beginning. I don’t know if it is the result of giving neem cake as fertilizer. No insecticides were sprayed. Or is it because there are young eggplant and tomato seedlings nearby for the leaf miners to eat?
