ഗോൾഡികൾ ഓടിക്കളിക്കുന്നതും ടെറ്റ്രകൾ മന്നം മന്നം നീന്തുന്നതും കാണാം

ഗോൾഡികൾ എന്നാണ് വീട്ടിലെ കുഞ്ഞു കുട്ടി സ്വർണ്ണ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം വിളിക്കാറ്. അവ നല്ല ഉത്സാഹത്തിൽ അങ്ങോട്ടുമിങ്ങോട്ടും വേഗത്തിൽ നീന്തുന്നത് കാണാം. എന്നാൽ ടെറ്റ്രകൾ വളരെ മന്ന ഗതിയിലാണ് നീന്തുന്നത്. ഭക്ഷണ കാര്യത്തിലും ഗോൾഡികൾ ടെറ്റ്രകളേക്കാൾ വളരെ മുന്നിലാണ്. കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഭക്ഷണം മുഴുവൻ വേഗം അകത്താക്കും. കാണുന്ന ഇലകളെല്ലാം കടിക്കും, ടാങ്കിലെ വേസ്റ്റും തീർക്കും. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഗോൾഡികൾ വന്ന ശേഷം ടാങ്കിലെ മണൽ എപ്പോഴും നീറ്റ് ആണ്. നമ്മളായിട്ട് ക്‌ളീൻ ചെയേണ്ടി വരാറില്ല. ഗോൾഡികൾ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ കൊത്തി നോക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണ് പൂഴിയിൽ ധാരാളം കുഞ്ഞു കുഴികൾ കാണുന്നത്.

Goldfishes are affectionately called Goldies by the little one at home. Goldies can be seen swimming quickly to and fro in good spirits. But tetras swim at a very slow pace. Goldies are also far ahead of tetras when it comes to food. All the food given will be swallowed quickly. They will gnaw all the leaves in sight and clean up the waste in the tank. So the sand in the tank is always neat after the goldies arrived. We don’t have to clean ourselves. A lot of small pits are found in the sand because the goldies nibble frequently.
