Is this Variegated Guava plant losing its variegation?
|Actually this is a grafted Variegated Guava plant. Now the dominant shoot is showing no variegation. I am not sure whether the variegated plant is losing its variegation or a shoot from the parent guava plant which might not have been variegated, is developing fast and overtaking the grafted variegated part. None of the new leaves coming up at the top has variegation. Only option to try for me seems to be to prune the non-variegated part and observe whether the variegated part is growing better. Variegated Guava fruits can also be variegated. But this plant is yet to produce any fruits.
