The spray seems to be effective!
|I had posted about leaf miner infestation in my brinjal plants and how I tried to repel them with a commercial spray containing neem oil, eucalyptus oil, lemongrass oil and turmeric. I had a hope that at least new leaves will be free of infestation. It seems that the spray has worked! The new leaves are not showing patterns of leaf miner infestation. There are plenty of flowers with a violet hue. So this has to be the purple variety of brinjal. Let us see if the pollinator insects come and pollinate them so that I can get a few nice purple brinjal fruits later. My only problem with the spray was that I had to put on a tight fitting N95 mask to avoid continuous sneezing!
