Are the Goldfish Having a Midday Nap?

Usually when I come to see the goldfish in the morning, they all crowd towards me, opening their mouth widely as if they are asking for food. Once the food pellets are dropped, they will swiftly gobble them. Now it seems that they are having a midday nap. They are not bothered about my presence at all!
