First and second flowers in my edible landscape!

This is the first flower in my edible landscape. I had posted sometime back mentioning that edible landscaping or foodscaping is cultivation of edible plants in an ornamental way. My vertical garden of Okra plants in garden pots on erstwhile washing area had borne flower buds a few days back. A beautiful flower has opened today morning and many more are to follow. Looks like a honey bee has already started gathering nectar. There is a bunch of tiny green amaranth flowers quite nearby. Many more Okra flowers will start opening soon.

Here is a tomato plant growing well in another garden pot and has started flowering. But the flowers being small, are not so conspicuous like the Okra flower. In case they develop into nice ripe tomatoes, they will certainly add beauty to my edible landscape. Actually there are two tomato flowers in the inflorescence, not just one. There are a few more buds to open as well.
