My adenium plant has developed flower bud!

Adenium, also known as desert rose is a flowering plant with different varieties having different types of flowers. This plant was brought from a local nursery as a tiny plant and has been growing in a garden pot for a few months now. They say that it needs a lot of sunlight and a little bit of water, being a ‘desert rose’. I had to prune this plant some time back because all the leaves were damaged. It has been mentioned that pruning in sunny weather promotes flowering. I am not sure whether it is because of pruning that this plant has developed a flower bud. Anyway I am quite happy to see the flower bud developing. Hoping to post the video of adenium flowers soon.
