Philippine Ground Orchid 

Philippine Ground Orchid is seen in South India, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Japan and many other countries. Usually the flowers are purple in colour and very beautiful. Seeds take about 6 weeks to develop after fertilization. As with many other types of seeds, these seeds split open when ripe and numerous tiny seeds are carried away by the wind. In some regions it flowers in most of the months and is an evergreen plant. Philippine Ground Orchid is also known as large purple orchid.
