Vertical garden of Okra plants with plenty of flowers and fruits!

Due to space constraints, I decided to grow Okra plants in garden pots on an elevated platform. Decades back, this platform was used for washing clothes. Now that job has been taken over by the washing machine. These Okra plants were grown from seeds bought from a local mall. Intermittently I add NPK mixture dissolved in water as manure. That was bought online. All plants have flowered befitting my foodscaping or edible landscaping. Many Okra fruits are also there. Okra fruits grow fast and if we miss the time for harvesting, they become very fibrous and difficult to eat.

Daily while watering the plants, I also harvest the mature Okra fruits and keep them in a refrigerator. That way I can have a regular supply for the kitchen. In olden times this would have been called a kitchen garden as well. But in those days, waste water from kitchen would have watered the plants growing on the ground. Now waste water goes into the drainage instead. In the background you can get glimpses of green amaranth, Moringa, chinese potato, curry leaves and even an apple plant, if you can identify them. Might as well rewind the video and check if you can locate them.
