Can you guess why? Of course, it is because both plants belong to the same plant family. While shoe flower is usually red, Okra flowers are yellow. There is another plant in the wild, with plenty of thorns which has almost the same colour and appearance of flowers. Once these plants start flowering, I expect a good yield of Okra fruits soon. Somehow, Okra has been the only vegetable to give consistent yields here.
