I had a hope that at least new leaves will be free of infestation. It seems that the spray has worked! The new leaves are not showing patterns of leaf miner infestation. There are plenty of flowers with a violet hue. So this has to be the purple variety of brinjal. Let us see if the pollinator insects come and pollinate them so that I can get a few nice purple brinjal fruits later.
