കൂർക്ക ചെടികളുടെ കൂടെ വളരുന്നത് കളകളോ അതോ?

ഈ ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ ഞാൻ കൂർക്ക ചെടി മാത്രമേ നട്ടതായി ഓർക്കുന്നുള്ളു. എന്നാൽ കുറേ കുഞ്ഞു ചെടികൾ കൂടി മുളച്ചു വരാൻ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ ആദ്യം വിചാരിച്ചു കളകളായിരിക്കും എന്ന്. കുറച്ചു കൂടി വലുതാവട്ടെ, എന്നിട്ട് തീരുമാനിക്കാം എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു.

സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നോക്കുമ്പോൾ, ഇലകളുടെ നടുക്കുള്ള ഞരമ്പുകളും അവയുടെ ശാഖകളും വെള്ള നിറത്തിലാണ്. സാധാരണ ഇവിടങ്ങളിൽ കാണാറുള്ള മിക്ക ചെറുകളകളിലും ഇങ്ങനെ കാണാറില്ല. പൂന്തോട്ടങ്ങളിൽ വളർത്തുന്ന ഒരു കൊച്ചു പൂച്ചെടിക്ക് ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനത്തെ ഇലകൾ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഞാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു ഔഷധ ഗുണമുള്ള ചെടി കൂടിയാണ്. എന്നാലും കുറച്ചു കൂടി വളർന്നാലേ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു പറയാനൊക്കു. എന്താണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ അഭിപ്രായം?

Are they weeds growing with the Chinese Potato plants?

I remember that I planted only Chinese Potato plant in this pot. But when more baby plants started sprouting, at first I thought they were weeds. I thought let them be a little bigger and then decide. On closer inspection, the midribs of the leaves and their branches are white in color. This is not the case with most of the small weeds that are commonly found here. I have seen leaves like this on a small flowering plant growing in gardens. I mean it is also a medicinal plant. But I can’t say for sure till they grow up a bit more. What is your opinion?
