ഇത് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം പോസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത വഴുതന ചെടികളുടെ വിഡിയോ ക്ലിപ്പ് ആണ്. കുറേ ഇലകളിൽ ചിത്രകീടങ്ങളുടെ ഉപദ്രവം ഉണ്ടായതിന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങൾ കാണാം. തക്കാളി, വഴുതന ചെടികളിലാണ് അത്തരം ഇലകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത്.

ഒരു അനിയൻ നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചത് പോലെ ചിത്രകീടം ബാധിച്ച ഇലകളെല്ലാം നുള്ളി കളഞ്ഞു. ഇപ്പോൾ ചില വഴുതന ഇലകൾ ചുരുണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ കാണാം. അതും മറ്റൊരു കീടബാധയാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. കീടനാശിനി ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്തത് കൊണ്ട് ഇവിടെ കീടങ്ങൾക്ക് ക്ഷാമമില്ല!

All infested leaves with leaf miners were removed

This is a video clip of brinjal plants posted the other day. Many leaves show signs of damage due to leaf miners. Tomato and brinjal plants now had such leaves. All the infested leaves were pinched off as suggested by a brother. Now some of the eggplant leaves look curled up. It also seems to be another infestation. There is no shortage of pests here because no pesticides are being used!
