A google image search gave this plant the names Norfolk Island Pine and Christmas Tree. It was said to be Devataru from the nursery it was bought from. So I asked if this is a flowering plant. The reason for asking is none other than the famous song Devtaru Poothu. Then they said that this plant does not flower. That’s why Google search was used to find the original name. Although I have seen this plant in many places, this is the first time I am having it at home. Two such plants have been placed in pots. Nice to see.
