പുതിയ ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തൈ മുറ്റത്ത് നട്ടു, വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷകളോടെ!

കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്ന പുതിയ ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തൈ മുറ്റത്ത് നട്ടു, വലിയ പ്രതീക്ഷകളോടെ! നല്ലവണ്ണം വെള്ളവും ഒഴിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. ഒരു കൗതുകത്തിന് pixabay.comൽ നിന്ന് കിട്ടിയ കായ്ച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്ന മരത്തിന്റെ ഒരു വിഡിയോ ക്ലിപ്പ് ഇതാ. ഇത്രയൊന്നുമില്ലെങ്കിലും ഒരു സന്തോഷത്തിന് ഒരു പഴമെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടാകണമേ എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ആദ്യമായി 500 ഗ്രാമിന്റെ ഒരു കൊക്കോ പീറ്റ്‌ ഫലകം ബക്കറ്റിൽ വെച്ചു. എന്നിട്ട് നല്ലവണ്ണം വെള്ളത്തിൽ കുതിർത്തി. ചെറിയ മൺ കോരിയുടെ സഹായത്താൽ നല്ലവണ്ണം ഇളക്കി മറിച്ചു. പുതിയ ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തൈ നടാനുള്ള കുഴിയിൽ കൊക്കോ പീറ്റ് മിശ്രിതം ഒഴിച്ചു കൊഴുത്തു. ഫലവൃക്ഷത്തൈ കുഞ്ഞു ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ നിന്ന് മാറ്റി അതിന് മുകളിൽ വെച്ച് മണ്ണിട്ടു കൊടുത്തു. അതിനുമുകളിൽ വേപ്പിൻ പിണ്ണാക്ക്, ബോൺ മീൽ, ലെതർ മീൽ എന്നിവ അടങ്ങിയ സൂപ്പർ മീൽ വളം വിതറിയ ശേഷം കുറച്ചു കൂടി മണ്ണിട്ടു. നല്ലവണ്ണം വെള്ളമൊഴിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. ഇനി ആകാംഷയോടുകൂടിയ വലിയ കാത്തിരിപ്പാണ്, ചെടി വളരുമോ, പൂക്കുമോ, കായ്ക്കുമോ എന്നെല്ലാം.

Even if it does not bear so many fruits, I wish to have at least one fruit from this new plant! First a cocopeat slab of 500 g was placed in the bucket and then soaked well in water. Stirred well with the help of a small soil scoop. Pit dug for planting the new fruit plant was filled with cocopeat mixture and covered with soil. The fruit plant was removed from the tiny plant pot and placed over the soil. After sprinkling a super meal fertilizer consisting of neem cake, bone meal and leather meal on top of that, some more soil was added to cover the pit. Watered well. Now it is a great wait with eagerness, whether the plant will grow, flower or bear fruit.
