വെള്ള കാന്താരി മുളക് തൈകൾ മുളച്ചു തുടങ്ങി

മറ്റു ചെടികൾ വാങ്ങിച്ച കൂട്ടത്തിൽ നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഫ്രീ ആയി കിട്ടിയ രണ്ട് പഴുത്ത വെള്ള കാന്താരി മുളകുകളിലെ വിത്തുകൾ രണ്ട് ചെടിച്ചട്ടികളിൽ പാകിയിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരു ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ കുറെ കുഞ്ഞു തൈകൾ മുളച്ചുവരാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മറ്റേ ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ വളരെ കുറച്ചേ മുളച്ചിട്ടുള്ളു. പ്രകൃതിയിൽ അങ്ങിനെയാണെല്ലോ, എല്ലാം ഒരുപോലെയല്ലലോ. തുടക്കത്തിൽ മുളക് തൈകളാണോ കളകളാണോ എന്ന് സംശയം തോന്നിയിരുന്നു. പോട്ടിങ് മിക്സ് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത് പറമ്പിലെ മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടായതിനാൽ ധാരാളം പുൽ വിത്തുകളും കൂടെ കാണും. കുറെയെങ്കിലും മുളക് തൈകൾ തന്നെയാണെന്ന് ഇപ്പോൾ തോന്നുന്നു. ഞാൻ ആദ്യമായാണ് വെള്ള കാന്താരി മുളക് വളർത്താൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്. കൂട്ടത്തിൽ കളകളും കാണും. കുറച്ചുകൂടി വലുതായി തിരിച്ചറിയാനാവുമ്പോൾ പറിച്ചു കളയാം.

White birds eye chilli seedlings have started sprouting

While we purchased several plants from the nursery, we got two ripe white birds eye chillies for free. The seeds from those were sown in two plant pots. Now some young seedlings have started sprouting in a pot. The other pot has very few sprouts. That’s how it is in nature, everything isn’t the same? At first there was doubt whether the sprouts were chilli seedlings or weeds. As the potting mix was made from field soil, there will be lots of grass seeds as well. Now it seems that at least some of the sprouts are chilli seedlings. This is first time I am trying to grow white birds eye chillies. Weeds will also be there in the group. When they become bigger, they can be identified better and pulled away.
