വെള്ള കാന്താരിക്ക് കൂട്ടായി ചുവന്ന ചീരയും തക്കാളിയും

ഈ ചെടിച്ചട്ടികളിൽ ഞാൻ നട്ടത് ഒരു നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഫ്രീ ആയി കിട്ടിയ പഴുത്ത വെള്ള കാന്താരി മുളകിൽ നിന്ന് എടുത്ത വിത്തുകളാണ്. മുളകിന്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം ഇപ്പോളും ഒരു ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ കാണാം. എന്നാൽ വെള്ള കാന്താരി മുളകിന്റെ തൈകൾ മുളച്ചു വന്നപ്പോൾ കൂടെ രണ്ട് ചുവന്ന ചീര തൈകളും, ഒരു തക്കാളി തൈയും കണ്ടു. ഒരു പക്ഷെ മുൻപ് ഈ ചെടിച്ചട്ടികളിൽ നട്ടിട്ട് മുളക്കാത്ത പോയ വിത്തുകൾ വൈകി മുളച്ചതാവാം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അടുത്ത ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ ചീര വിത്ത് നട്ടപ്പോൾ അറിയാതെ ഈ ചട്ടിയിലും വീണു പോയതാവാം. എല്ലാ ചെടികളും നന്നായി വളരുന്നുണ്ട്, മറ്റു ചെടിച്ചട്ടികളിലേക്ക് പറിച്ചു നടണമെന്നുണ്ട്, പക്ഷെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞ ചെടിച്ചട്ടികളില്ല, പുതിയവ വാങ്ങേണ്ടി വരും.

In these pots I planted seeds from ripe white bird’s eye chilli fruits that I got free from a nursery. A part of the chilli fruit can still be seen in a pot. But when the seedlings of white bird’s eye chilli sprouted, two red amaranth seedlings and one tomato seedling were seen along with it. Maybe the seeds that did not germinate after planting in these pots earlier have germinated late. Or when the amaranth seeds were planted in the next plant pot, it may have fallen into this pot unkowingly. All the plants are growing well and need to be transplanted into other pots, but there are no empty pots and new ones will have to be bought.
