ഇന്നലെ കുറെ സമയമെടുത്തു ഹൈഡ്രാഞ്ചിയ ചെടി വലിയ ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിലേക്ക് പറിച്ചു നട്ടു. ഇനി എപ്പോളാണാവോ ചിത്രത്തിൽ കാണുന്ന പോലെയുള്ള പൂക്കുലകൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്? ആദ്യമായി ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയുടെ അടിയിൽ അധിക ജലം ചോർന്നു പോകാൻ രണ്ട് ദ്വാരങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി, വേനൽ മഴ തുടങ്ങാറായല്ലോ. പിന്നെ കുറെ ചപ്പുചവറുകൾ നിറച്ചു, വേരോടാൻ സൗകര്യത്തിനും, ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയുടെ അടിയിലെ ദ്വാരം മണ്ണ് വന്ന് അടഞ്ഞുപോകാതിരിക്കാനും. നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നപ്പോൾ ഹൈഡ്രാഞ്ചിയ ചെടി ഒരു മീഡിയം സൈസ് ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിൽ ആയിരുന്നു. നഴ്സറിയിൽ നിന്ന് തന്നെ വാങ്ങിയ പോട്ടിങ് മിക്സിന്റെ ചാക്കാണിത്. ചപ്പുചവറുകൾക്ക് മുകളിൽ കുറെ പോട്ടിങ് മിക്സ് നിക്ഷേപിച്ചു. ചെറിയ മൺകോരിയുടെ സഹായത്താൽ ചെറിയ ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിലെ മണ്ണ് പതുക്കെ ഇളക്കി, വേരുകൾക്ക് കേടുപറ്റാതെ ചെടി സൂക്ഷ്മതയോടെ വലിയ ചെടിച്ചട്ടിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി. ചെടിക്ക് ചുറ്റും കുറച്ചുകൂടി മണ്ണ് ഇട്ട് കൊടുത്തു. മണ്ണിന് മുകളിൽ ചെടിക്ക് ചുറ്റും വേപ്പിൻ പിണ്ണാക്ക്, ബോൺ മേൽ, ലെതർ മീൽ എന്നിവ അടങ്ങിയ സൂപ്പർ മീൽ വളം വിതറി. അതിന് മുകളിൽ കുറേ കൂടി മണ്ണ് ചേർത്തു. എന്നിട്ട് നല്ലവണ്ണം വെള്ളവും ഒഴിച്ച് കൊടുത്തു. ഇനി നീണ്ട കാത്തിരിപ്പാണ്, ധാരാളം ഹൈഡ്രാഞ്ചിയ പുഷ്പങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് കാണാൻ.

The hydrangea plant was transplanted into a large pot

Yesterday took some time to transplant the hydrangea plant into a large pot. When will the flowers appear like in the picture? Initially holes were made in the bottom of the pot to drain excess water, as summer rains are likely to occur soon. Then some dry leaves and twigs were filled in, to facilitate rooting and to prevent soil from clogging the holes at the bottom of the plant pot. The hydrangea plant was in a medium sized pot when brought from the nursery. This is a bag of potting mix bought from the nursery itself. Potting mix was placed over the leaves and twigs. The soil in the small pot was gently stirred with the help of a small soil scoop and the plant was carefully transferred to the larger pot without damaging the roots. Put some more soil around the plant. Super meal fertilizer consisting of neem cake, bone meal and leather meal was spread around the plant on top of the soil. More soil was added on top of it. Then poured water well. Now it is a long wait to see many flowers on this hydrangea plant.
