Position of VSD in double outlet right ventricle
Various positions of ventricular septal defects in double outlet right ventricle are:
- Subaortic VSD.
- Subpulmonary VSD, above the septal limb of the crista supraventricularis – Taussig Bing complex.
- Doubly committed VSD: VSD is very large and related to both semilunar valves.
- Remote VSD: AV canal or muscular type of VSD.
- No VSD. Only outlet of the left ventricle will be an atrial septal defect, mitral valve is deformed.
