Target heart rate for aerobic training is 70 percent of the maximum predicted heart rate. Maximum predicted heart rate is 220-age of the individual.<\/p>\n<p>Usual types of aerobic training are brisk walking, jogging, running, cycling, hiking, dancing and swimming, though availability of each type will vary on the local conditions. Both aerobic and anaerobic exercises have a favourable effect on lipid metabolism.
