It is probably mostly contributed by PCI vessels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Graft vs. Stent Performance:<\/strong> While the LIMA-to-LAD graft in HCR maintains excellent long-term patency (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/journals\/cardiovascular-medicine\/articles\/10.3389\/fcvm.2025.1641223\/full\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/journals\/cardiovascular-medicine\/articles\/10.3389\/fcvm.2025.1641223\/full\">approaching 100% in many series<\/a>), the non-LAD lesions treated with drug-eluting stents (DES) remain subject to the typical limitations of PCI, such as in-stent restenosis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary of Clinical Positioning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-de247dde-5f66-4354-b1fd-7ee26f5de096\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Current consensus emphasize that HCR is most appropriate for patients with high-risk features where the &#8220;invasiveness-to-benefit&#8221; ratio of a full sternotomy is unfavorable.
