Such large subaortic VSD with aortic override can be seen in tetralogy of Fallot and double outlet right ventricle. From the surgeon&#8217;s point of view, if the override is more than 50%, it is considered as DORV rather than TOF. Here the override is less than 50% and hence in favour of TOF rather than DORV.<\/p>\n<p>Pulmonary atresia with subaortic VSD, which can be considered as an extreme variant of TOF can also have a similar picture on parasternal long axis view.&nbsp;A similar appearance can be seen with the subtruncal VSD in truncus arteriousus.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Large subaortic VSD with aortic override &#8211;
