$1.5 Box for $3 FM Radio Board with Remote, Bluetooth and More!

I had posted about an FM radio board costing just $3 having remote control, Bluetooth, USB port, Aux in and a microSD card slot. During my experimentation, the board packed off and became short. I presumed that it could have been due to some cross connection between bare wire connections. This time I thought of working in a slightly more professional way. Bought a $1.5 pre-amplifier box and and installed the FM radio board inside it, taking care to insulate all the joints with tape. Though the pre-amplifier box has option for a volume control, I do not need one because the remote control has that function as well.

This was the metal enclosure before fixing the FM radio board in it.

Rear side of the metal enclosure showing options for various types of pins, though I am not planning to use them now.

Here is the view inside the enclosure after opening up.

Final version, after assembling the FM radio board inside the box, connecting a loudspeaker, and power bank for power supply. As mentioned earlier, I am using a Ham Radio antenna, which has been connected using a crocodile clip to the antenna wire coming out from the FM radio board.

When the power is switched on, the default mode is FM radio. Here I have changed it to Bluetooth mode.

That was done using the Mode button in the remote. FM radio frequencies can also be typed in using the keyboard on the remote. Red button can be used to switch off the device which then goes into standby mode.
