Speeds up to 120 MBPS were documented by internet speed tests. With Wi Fi, I usually get speeds in the range of only 40 MBPS. Of course you need a fast fiber internet connection to utilize this speed. Currently speeds up to 1 GBPS are available from our internet service provider. I have been using the up to 200 MBPS option. May be I can think of upgrading to 1 GBPS option as this USB to Gigabit LAN Converter can support up to 1 GBPS, though I am not sure whether my old laptop would support it. More than that, currently I don’t need that much speed which will come only at more than three times the current monthly ISP bill!
