Very poor band condition on 40m!

Very poor band condition on 40m today morning. Most likely it is due to the recent coronal mass ejection from the Sun disrupting radio propagation through the ionosphere. QRZ.COM shows fair propagation on most bands both during day and night. Planetary K index was in the red, though it shows green for the past three hours. I have noted this difference earlier as well.
