200W Car Inverter to run my Pedestal Fan Off Grid!
I am using a 200W car inverter to run the pedestal fan in my radio room. The same car inverter can be used to charge my laptop from the car. While using this device in your car, make sure that you are not loading it beyond the rated capacity of the supply port in your car, which is often only 120W. If you load it beyond that, an internal fuse in the electrical panel of the car may blow off. I can also run my extra computer monitors in the radio room with it. It has additional USB ports for charging mobile phones, tabs and other USB and USB-PD compatible devices. In the radio room, I am using a 105 Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and a car cigarette lighter socket to connect to the car inverter. This minimalistic setup is to avoid using 1150W inverter when I do not need so much power.
