Brief review of SkyRoof, the latest satellite tracking software!

Yesterday VE3NEA shared the link for SkyRoof v.1.00 beta, an SDR-based satellite tracking program. It is a freeware and open source. Hardware requirement is any modern 64 bit computer with internet connection to download satellite data. Software defined radio is optional, but highly recommended. Supported models are: Airspy Mini, SDRplay and RTL-SDR. Transceiver is also optional. The beta version has been tested with the popular weak signal satellite radio IC-9700. Antenna rotator is also optional. Any antenna rotator supported by HamLib can be used. Software required is Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit only. HamLib is optional, for computer assisted transceiver control and control of the antenna rotator.
