Getting ready to program my new Raspberry Pi Pico!
|Function of the BOOTSEL button in Raspberry Pi Pico is discussed first, followed by familiarizing with the pin numbers. Next step is to download and install Thonny, Python IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for beginners from thonny.org. Python 3.10 is built in to Thonny so that only one simple installer is needed. If necessary, a separate Python installation can also be done.
I bought this Raspberry Pi Pico with Headers and Micro USB Cable from Amazon: https://amzn.to/4mwyt7H Please note that if you buy from this link, Amazon will pay me a small bit as an affiliate, with no additional cost to the buyer.
