Mounting and Tuning VHF Slim Jim Antenna

Johnson Francis | December 5, 2024 | Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) | No Comments

I had homebrewed a VHF Slim Jim Antenna a few days back. Today I mounted it and tested it for SWR and tried to tune it for the lowest SWR possible. It was a rather tough job with fairly bright sunshine, to go out change the tuning, come back and test SWR and doing that repeatedly!
