UVSQ-SAT Activation for Amateur Radio

UVSQ-SAT is a CubeSat which was launched on 24th January 2021. According to a Twitter post, the FM transponder will be activated for use by radio amateurs on 5th September, 2023. Activation will be non-stop for 11 hours starting from 10.00 UTC. Uplink frequency is 145.905 MHz and downlink frequency 437.020 MHz. No tone is required for uplink to the satellite. UVSQ-SAT is a nanosatellite of one CubeSat unit form factor. UVSQ-SAT team will provide an availability of the transponder up to 20% of time for Ham Radio operations. The schedule will be announced one to two weeks in advance on the project website and Twitter account.
