As expected, there was a significant difference between the two. AC input to the bridge rectifier is measured as RMS voltage and the rectified DC voltage output is expected to be be 1.414 times the AC input (root 2 times). The measurement was conducted at no load condition. When a load draws current from the bridge rectifier, there will be some fall in the voltage as no voltage rectifier circuit has been included in the demo bridge rectifier circuit.
