Unlike tuning using your radio, you do not have to transmit a significant signal on the air. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NanoVNA uses tiny signals on 101 frequency steps in the chosen range and measures the reflected energy from the antenna. That gives you a graph of SWR pattern in the frequency range and tells you the resonant frequency of your antenna. There is absolutely no risk of damage to your radio as can occur by transmitting on a frequency with high SWR.
