Meaning that it is a monocrystalline, Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell solar panel. Along with it have bought a charge controller and a 12V, 65 Ah sealed lead acid battery. Though TOPCon solar panels have a more advanced technology, I have not gone for that for two reasons: 1. It is costlier. 2. Only 350W TOPCon panel was available here. So much power is not needed for my ham radio setup and it is not needed to charge a 65 Ah SMF battery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is rear side of the solar panel with connectors and short length of cables. Most of my ham friends have reported heavy noise in HF radios when solar panels are working. Actually it is not the solar panels which causes the noise in the radio, it is the solar inverters which convert to high frequency and then back to 50 Hz. The noise level in my radio is already quite high. Hence what I plan is to use this solely as a standby power supply.
