VU3EBS had already mentioned that the BFO signal will be around 10 MHz. Today morning I could not pick up that signal, possibly because it was not strong enough to reach my 40m loop antenna outside. In the evening I tried a different method. Opened the Easy BITX cabinet and kept a 50cm RG58 patch cable from the antenna connection of FT-710 just inside the Easy BITX cabinet. That worked very well. I could get a strong beat note around 9995.6 kHz.
