Live Amateur Radio Satellite Status<\/span><\/h2>\n

Live status report of amateur radio satellites, Orbiting Satellites Carrying Amateur Radio or OSCAR is available at AMSAT page: https:\/\/www.amsat.org\/status\/index.php<\/a>. There are several OSCARs out there, ever since OSCAR 1 was launched in 1961. Data on large number of satellites including International Space Station is available as a graphical display. Large number of radio amateurs across the globe who are satellite enthusiasts are submitting information to the page regularly. The page displays information on the satellites on which the information has been submitted as well as the callsigns of those who have submitted the information.<\/p>\n

\"Live<\/p>\n

While submitting a report, the satellite is selected from click down menu. Status reports can be chosen from radio buttons for Uplink and Downlink Active, Downlink Only, Not Heard and ISS Crew (Voice) Active. Next there are click down menus for selecting Date Heard and Time Heard (UTC). Finally Callsign and Grid Square<\/a> of the submitter have to be typed down.<\/p>\n

Colour coded graphical display indicates the status of each satellite listed. Separate colours are given for Transponder\/Repeater active, Telemetry\/Beacon only, No signal, Conflicting reports and ISS Crew (Voice) Active. Latest six days activity is displayed. If you hover the mouse over the colour coded display, Callsigns of the submitters and their grids as well as date, time and the type of activity reported will be shown. Current report shows that International Space Station Crew (Voice) is active.
