Close look at the Raduino board in Easy BITX
This is the side of the Raduino board facing backwards while mounted vertically, which I had posted in my previous video showing regulator IC 7805, 25 MHz crystal, Arduino Nano microcontroller, BS170 MOSFETs and other passive components. But a few important components seen in the schematic were not visible, because they are surface mount components mounted on the reverse side.
This is a still image of the same side of the Raduino board, with labelling to show some components mentioned initially.
Still image of reverse side of Raduino board showing three ICs. They are a couple of LM386 and an Si5351 clock generator.
Magnified image of reverse side of Raduino board showing two ICs U3 and U4 (LM386). They are audio amplifiers.
Here I am trying to find the markings on a vital component on the reverse side of the Raduino board, by shining a spotlight. But the number has not come well in this video clip. Better seen in the next still image.
Si5351 the versatile, configurable clock generator IC which takes the 25 MHz crystal frequency and generates the VFO and BFO signals. It enables stable, multi-band operation with 1 Hz resolution and allows for easy calibration of intermediate frequency (IF) offsets. You would have noted the minimum 1 Hz step while the VFO was on 20m in a previous first power on video.
