Did you know that you can track ARTEMIS II from N2YO.COM?

N2YO.COM is my favourite site for checking amateur radio satellite passes, especially International Space Station. Today when I visited that site for checking a Space Station pass which was due soon, I found the link for tracking ARTEMIS II (INTEGRITY) the spacecraft which was launched yesterday by NASA. That is for taking four astronauts, of which three are amateur radio operators, for a 10 day trip around the moon. This trip takes humans farthest into space, much farther than any previous missions. Though there are three licensed amateur radio operators on board, this mission does not carry an amateur radio.

Curiosity made me click on the link and I was quite happy to see the current position of ARTEMIS II (INTEGRITY) on the map with respect to my location. This flight will validate the systems and procedures needed for future missions, particularly Artemis III, which aims to land astronauts on the lunar surface.
