Radio Amateurs all over VU land and many from abroad are gearing up for the great event Hamfest India 2023, to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, Science City, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from Nov 25-26, 2023. Going through the history of Hamfest India, I am glad to say that the very first two were held in my state and a total of 5 have been held in Kerala. Hamfest India 2022 was held at Mysore. It was not held in 2005, 2020 and 2021, the last two, obviously because of Covid 19 pandemic. Visiting the website of Hamfest India 2023, I can find that as of 15 November 2023, 779 delegates have registered for the great event! A lot of SWLs have also registered for the grand meeting.

More than 10 technical workshops, 20 plus stalls and 10 other sessions are awaiting the delegates for Hamfest India 2023. Several leading sellers of Ham Radio equipment are expected to display their radios at the meeting in various stalls. There is also an option for individual Hams to display their products for sale in the venue. It will be an excellent opportunity for the Ham Radio fraternity to meet each other and interact in the various technical sessions, to learn more about the wonderful hobby.
