See a Real Waterfall and Waterfall Display Side by Side!

Just out of curiosity, I am comparing a real waterfall video from pixabay.com and the waterfall display on my FT-710 radio. While the natural one is of course more beautiful, the waterfall display in the radio is useful to find out good signals which are operable for me with ‘100 W and wire’. Even if I am able to tune in signals which are not visible on the waterfall display I am seldom able to work them with my limited setup. I am happy working stations which are seen on the waterfall display. The density of the signals on the waterfall display roughly correspond with the signal strength as well. SSB signals have a wider band width while CW signals have a thin band. Digital signals have something in between, though I am not sure of them as I have never tried to decode the ‘digital signals’ in my radio.
