Spot the antenna from the waterfall challenge!
I have two antennas which can work on 15m with the automatic antenna tuner in my FT-710 radio. Interestingly, I do not have to retune when I change from one antenna to the other, meaning that both antenna systems present same impedance to the radio on 15m. One is a full wave loop with ladder line and 4:1 transformer at the junction with a short piece of RG58 coax coming into the shack. Another is an inverted V dipole antenna with no balun at feed point. Both are connected through a homebrew common mode choke at the radio end. I am checking the difference in noise level on the waterfall, picked up from my 1150W inverter located in a nearby room.
I hope it will be an easy answer from you on which is the full wave loop and which is the inverted V dipole – Antenna A or Antenna B among the waterfalls illustrated.
