Any remedy for regional wall motion abnormality?

Regional wall motion abnormality or RWMA is usually noted on echocardiogram, ultrasound imaging of the heart. It indicates abnormal motion of a region of the left ventricle, the lower muscular chamber of the heart.
RWMA is usually due to decreased blood supply to that region of the heart muscle. If irreversible damage to the muscle has not occurred, it can improve once the blood supply is restored. If irreversible damage has occurred, the abnormality is unlikely to recover.
Methods of improving blood supply include clot dissolving medications in the immediate phase after occlusion of vessel by a blood clot, removal of blocks by angioplasty or bypassing the blocks by coronary artery bypass grafting surgery.
Rarely, natural body mechanisms also can dissolve the clots and restore blood supply. Natural bypass by formation of collateral blood vessels can also occur in the long run. Lifestyle modifications can enhance development of collaterals.
No regional wall motion abnormality or ‘No RWMA’, often noted on echocardiogram reports indicates that all regions of the heart are contracting.
