ECG in Anterior Wall Infarction

ECG is very widely available and has minimal expense. Still it is one of the best methods of confirming acute myocardial infarction early in its course. Early diagnosis is very important for initiating treatment modalities like primary angioplasty and when that is not feasible, thrombolytic therapy. A test which is nearly one and a quarter century old, is still the leading investigation for acute myocardial infarction!
