Modifications of ECG recording

Mason-Likar torso leads, used mostly for treadmill tests.
Body surface mapping: multiple electrodes over the chest, used for mapping electrical activity of the heart, for assessing the success of thrombolysis.
Frank orthogonal leads – used mainly for vectorcardiography. Vectorcardiography can also be derived from standard leads using computer algorithms.
EASI 5 lead system.
24 view ECG: In addition to the usual 12 leads, the negatives of the 12 leads are also displayed. This system can assess changes in ST vector during interventions.
15 lead ECG: Three right chest leads in addition to the usual 12 leads, useful in detecting right ventricular infarction.
