P2Y12 reaction units for on-treatment platelet reactivity (OTR)

P2Y12 reaction units for on-treatment platelet reactivity (OTR)

Platelet reactivity can be measured in P2Y12 reaction units (PRU) and can be used to assess on-treatment platelet reactivity (OTR) after percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Platelet reactivity of 230 or more P2Y12 reaction units while on clopidogrel has been taken as high platelet reactivity with a VerifyNow P2Y12 Assay [1].
